Vinter - ViSSEVASSE x Pillivuyt
Dorthe, our designer, lit up when she received an email, in 2020, from the iconic French porcelain manufacturer Pillivuyt.
Pillivuyt asked if Dorthe would be interested in designing a Pillivuyt tableware set for the cold months that embraces both traditional and modern qualities.
Of course she said YES, and that became the beginning of the collaboration and the many hours of work that has now resulted in the new tableware set ‘Vinter’.
Dorthe decorated the set with her particular graphic expression and light, Nordic pastels. It was important for both Dorthe and Pillivuyt to create a set that can be used for both everyday and festive occasions. Therefore, the decorations are only moderately Christmassy, so they can be used all winter.
The scenes reflect the mood during the cosy winter months with stories from near and far about snow play, atmospheric winter landscapes and good times with friends and family that the users can jump into and add new chapters to.
The set consists of three plates in different sizes, a bowl and a mug, all decorated with a scene that tells a story.

The beautiful tableware lives up to the same high quality standards as all Pillivuyt’s porcelain. Like all other Pillivuyt porcelain, Winter is made from a unique porcelain dough with an extremely hard glaze that makes the porcelain resistant to chipping and scratching.
